Plans for another “Battlestar Galactica” series
and made-for-TV movie are in the works.
(Let’s hope they stink up the airwaves less than the
quickly-cancelled “Battlestar Galactica 1980″ revival.)
Of course, the original 1970s-era show needs to be
updated a little bit to appeal to today’s audience:

The Top 6 Updates to
“Battlestar Galactica”

6> Muffit the robotic daggit is abducted by the Blue Man Group and upgraded to a Pentium 4.

5> Feathered haircuts now replaced with the timeless “mullet.”

4> Starbucks on every ship, not just the Galactica.

3> Homing beacon from earth turns out to be “Who’s the Boss?” reruns. The whole “Find Earth to live” plan is scrapped accordingly.

2> When the Galactica finally reaches Earth, the crew decides to settle elsewhere since the planet is overrun by damn dirty apes.

and the Number 1 Update to “Battlestar Galactica”…

1> Richard Hatch reprises his role as Captain Apollo, but is voted off the Galactica by the Council of the 12 Tribes.
