NOTE FROM JOHN:
This past weekend, George Lucas teased us all with
the trailer for “Star Wars: Attack of the Clones.”
While it was immediately deconstructed by legions
of fanboys (including your humble moderator), it
was if anything more interesting for what was
left out than for what was included…

The Top 8 Scenes that Didn’t Make
the “Attack of the Clones” Trailer

8> “Takea yousa stinkin’ paws offa meesa, yousa damn dirty ape!”

7> Yoda nose to navel with Amadala, saying “Judge me by my size, do you?”

6> Anakin asking Amadala out for the 23rd time and being rejected for the 23rd time.

5> Senator Palpatine looking into the mirror as the bandages are removed from a very poor job of plastic surgery.

4> Darth Vader’s birth: The old “ripping through the womb via his mother’s belly” schtick.

3> Both the good news that Darth Maul is back and the bad news that they’ve cloned five of him to form the boy band, *NSith.

2> The musical “Jedi Knights of the Round Table” number.

and the Number 1 Scene that Didn’t Make the “Attack of the
Clones” Trailer…

1> A young Han Solo discovers the joy of playing with his Wookie.
