NOTE FROM GREG:
Scholastic Corporation, publishers of the Harry Potter
series, are launching a new advertising campaign
to get more adults to read the books.
“The new ad campaign is aimed at an
18-to-35-year-old audience. The ads will feature
readers and fans of the best-seller, including a
tattooed biker, a fashionista and sports fans,
Reuters said. The ads will use the same tagline:
‘We all have our reasons. What’s yours?’”

Adult to Read Harry Potter

9> Being a Star Wars fanboy wasn’t making you enough of a geek.

8> You’re getting desperate for new material after plowing through the entire Hardy Boys series for the seventh time.

7> You’re pretty sure “He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named” and “the Chamber of Secrets” are Freudian references, so you’re scouring the books for more erotic content.

6> You want to absorb enough incantations and magical terminology to convince hookers you’ve got a magic wand.

5> It’s still shorter and easier to read than “War and Peace.”

4> You need something for that one week a year when neither a new Star Trek or new Star Wars book is published.

3> You want to be able to have conversations with all your guests at the Neverland Ranch.

2> No more spam. You’ll be able to learn the “Mammarus Maximus

and “Viagrus Eternus” spells.

and the Number 1 Reason For An Adult To Read Harry Potter…

1> It’s another thing you can do that the President can’t.
