NOTE FROM KILROY:
Former President George W. Bush recently
stated the thing he misses most about no
longer being Commander-in-Chief is interaction
with U.S. troops. That seems a little general,
so we decided to help him be more specific.

The Top 9 Things Bush Misses About the Military

9> Getting to browse through all those hot, top secret pics of
naked Abu Ghraib prisoners.

8> Being able to move troops around the world like checkers on a
checkerboard. That was so cool.

7> The heart-pounding action of serving on the front lines (yes,
he certainly missed that).

6> All those shiny things on the officers’ shoulders, and all
those stripy things on the enlisteds’ sleeves.

5> They always helped him out with clock times after twelve
hundred.

4> Unlike some of the fellers who go out shootin’ in Texas (not
to name names, Cheney), military types know how to aim a
weapon.

3> All those neato challenge coins he used to get. (“Oooh,
shiny.”)

2> The ripple of uncomfortable glances among the Joint Chiefs
whenever he said “nucular.”

and the Number 1 Thing Bush Misses About the Military…
1> Playing catch with that little colonel who was always hanging
around the White House (although using a real football
probably would have been more fun).
