writing new code and instead hunt down existing bugs.

6> Apparently Internet Explorer’s built-in filter software was actually letting copies of Netscape run on some PCs.

5> According to Arthur Andersen’s auditors, there are no bugs in Microsoft’s products.

4> Hardcoded “KEEP OUT” error message not followed by “THIS MEANS YOU!”

3> Most of the bugs are so old that any attempt at fixing them gets you a visit from the EPA’s Endangered Species department.

2> Those damn “Copyright (c) 1980 Xerox Palo Alto Research Center” messages.
