NOTE FROM DAVE:
The original Dark Shadows TV series also spawned an
avalanche of paperback novels. W.E.D. Ross, under
the alias of Marilyn Ross (his wife’s name), churned out
34 Gothic novels in 6 years featuring vampire Barnabas
Collins and his cousin Quentin Collins the werewolf.
By the end of the series, Ross was running out of steam
with such titles as “Barnabas, Quentin and Dr. Jekyll’s Son”
and “Barnabas, Quentin, and the Magic Potion.”
Makes one wonder what titles didn’t make it into print.
