NOTE FROM FRAN:
A recent study has found that about 10% of people are
genetically unable to benefit from exercise — even when they
went on a well-monitored exercise program over 20 weeks,
they showed no measurable gains in oxygen uptake and other
measures of fitness.
So a few of us can relax on the couch, secure in the
knowledge that exercise won’t do us any good.
