NOTE FROM DAVE:
Dick Grayson has reached a milestone: Nightwing
#100 is being released December 8. “The tension
has been building for months, and now it explodes
in this extra-sized 100th issue spectacular! Ever
since Blockbuster’s murder, Dick Grayson has
buckled under the burden of unbearable guilt. Now,
with the events of ‘War Games’ behind him,
Nightwing must find an inner focus that has eluded
him and mete out justice and it all begins with
Tarantula! Get ready for the battle everyone’s
been waiting for: Nightwing vs. Tarantula!”
Doesn’t sound that exciting to me. Perhaps we
should have been consulted…

The Top 9 Storylines *We*
Would Use for Nightwing #100
Would Use for Nightwing #100
9> Nightwing meets a mysterious new costumed vigilante: Their differences first lead them to fight each other, but they learn that by teaming up, they can achieve their goals and engage in mutual respect and admiration. (In other words, business as usual.)
8> Hey, when was the last time DC featured an evil ape? They’re ignoring tradition here!
7> Nightwing spends the entire issue repeatedly banging Chris O’Donnell’s face into some holey rusted metal.
6> “Death in the Family II: Aquaman’s Unfortunate Visit to Bludhaven.”
5> The entire issue is an open letter to Marv Wolfman, begging him to come back and write the character again.
4> On the last page, Kory wakes up in her bed in Titan’s Tower with Dick in the shower and everything after “Titan’s Hunt” just a dream.
3> The tight little green shorts make a comeback.
2> It involves Oracle, Starfire and Tarantula in a hot-tub. But that’s the story line I would use for *every* issue.
and the Number 1 Storyline *We* Would Use for Nightwing #100…
1> Thanks to his keen deductive mind, Dick finally realizes that the only way the past two years of his life make any sense at all is if his life is being written by a sex-crazed fangirl. Then he uses his escape-artist skills to escape from his own book.
